THIRD SEASON UNDERWAY
The third season of the Tesco Cup - U13 Boys is now officially under way! The last two seasons have been a phenomenal success with well over 40,000 boys taking part across the UK. The competition began with only 29 English County FAs taking part and we have now increased this number to 37 – which is fantastic news for all concerned. Scotland, Northern Ireland and the six Welsh Area Associations also lend their much valued support by putting teams forward and we hope that this season will be the best yet.
Teams battle through County, Area and Regional and National rounds to represent their country at the UK Final. The inaugural season was won by Scottish champions Hutchison Vale at a rain-soaked Reebok Stadium in May 2006 and last season's competition was won by Staffordshire and English champions, Harpfield FC at the City of Manchester Stadium.
