LANDORE COLTS PROGRESS TO UK FINAL
Landore Colts from West Wales won the Tesco Cup Welsh Final on Sunday April 20 in Cardiff. The team will now advance to the UK Final of the Tesco Cup to be held at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton on Sunday May 24. After a tense final against Penydarren BGC, Landore won 5-0 to win the tournament.
Cardiff City Club Captain Darren Purse, who attended the event in Cardiff, chose promising Penydarren player Calum Williams ‘Player of the Tournament'.
Darren Purse also selected the following players to receive awards:
Best Goalkeeper Luke Farley (Denbigh Town)
Best Defender: Macauley Trinder (Penygarn & Trevethin)
Best Midfielder: Kieran Davies (Llandrindod)
Best Forward: Jonathan Evans (Landore Colts)
